The affordability crisis Minnesotans are facing wasn’t created by an independent problem solver, it was created by the toxic, two-party system. Decades of partisan dysfunction brought us here, and it will take independent, common-sense leadership to get us out.
Every Minnesotan should have equal access to the
“good life” — No matter their zip code.
Safe neighborhoods, smart spending, and leadership that puts Minnesotans ahead of party politics.
I was born and raised in White Bear Lake, the youngest of six children in a family deeply rooted in public service. My parents were both active in Minnesota governance, instilling in me a lifelong respect for community and civic responsibility.
I graduated from White Bear Lake High School (Go Bears!) and later earned my degree from the University of St. Thomas. As a lifelong Minnesotan, entrepreneur, and former business owner, I’ve spent my career solving problems, managing budgets, and building teams, experiences that have prepared me to take on the real challenges Minnesota is facing today.
My wife, Marie, and I also know what it’s like to raise kids in Minnesota’s public schools, navigating the same classrooms, teachers, and community programs as so many families across our state. That reminds me every day who I’m fighting for: hardworking Minnesotans who deserve a fair shot and a better future for their children.

Priorities
Minnesota, We Deserve Better 2026

Safety and Opportunity for All
Every Minnesotan should have equal access to the “good life.” That starts with being safe in your home, on your street, and in your community. It extends to our children, who deserve to feel safe in their schools. And it includes being financially secure, having the stability and opportunity to build a better future for your family.

World-Class Education
No matter your zip code, every child deserves a world-class education that truly prepares them for the future. And because our schools are the heart of our communities, we must ensure they’re strong, well-supported, and in good shape, providing the oxygen our state needs to thrive.

A Premier Destination for Business
Minnesota should attract companies from around the country and the world, while helping the businesses already here succeed. Because when our businesses grow, our workers grow, our communities grow, and Minnesota grows. Strong businesses are good for all Minnesotans.

Common Sense Accountable Government
Our state agencies, and the dedicated Minnesotans who work in them, will be empowered to use common sense, not bureaucracy to serve the public. With modern tools, efficient systems, and strong leadership, they will be able to do their jobs with pride and ensure every tax dollar delivers real value for Minnesotans. Because good government is good for all Minnesotans.

Leadership you can trust - believe in and count on
We need leaders we can trust to be working on our behalf, not for big donors or special interests. When we do hear from them, it shouldn’t be doom, gloom, or finger-pointing, it should be about possibility, unity, and progress for all Minnesotans.

Our Minnesota Environment
Protect and preserve our lakes, rivers, forests, and natural beauty because our
outdoor heritage is part of who we are and essential to the “Good Life” in
Minnesota.Solving Problems Will Be My Top Priority
Why I’m Running for Governor
I'm running for governor because we no longer have a government by the people and for the people — we have a government captured by parties, agendas, and special interests. Our legislature is trapped in a partisan tug-of-war where, if one side discovered the cure for cancer, the other side would rush to discredit it simply because it wasn’t their idea or fit their agenda. And while they fight, Minnesotans pay the price. This toxic status quo is failing us, and it’s time for real leadership that puts people first. We need an independent voice who will step in, cut through the noise, and actually solve problems.
These are the facts:
- Our major cities are struggling, and violent crime is out of control.
- Businesses no longer see Minnesota as a good investment.
- Fraud has become synonymous with Minnesota.
- We are being taxed out of our homes & cars, especially our seniors and young people.
- We have a spending problem that our leaders refuse to address because they are too invested in their partisan battles.
- Minnesota has an affordability crisis, and families are feeling it every single day
- If that isn’t bad enough, the one thing we could always hang our hats on, our great public schools, are also on the decline.
But Today, I’m here to offer all Minnesotans freedom from the partisan political machine and to show that there’s a better way. A way grounded in common sense, community, and the belief that Minnesota belongs to all of us, not to the political parties. Remember, government works for the people, not the other way around.
How Did We End Up With This System

I call it the political matrix, we think we’re in control, but in truth, we’re just fueling the partisan machines. I don’t blame anyone for staying in it; it’s comfortable, it’s familiar, and it’s where your friends and family probably are too. But if we want something better, we have to be willing to step outside of it. Remember, government works for the people, not the other way around.
